The content on this website is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, mental health treatment, or diagnosis.
Viewing this website or submitting a contact form does not establish a therapist–client or consultant–client relationship. A formal intake process and signed agreement are required before services begin.
2. Licensure & Jurisdiction
Brendan Turner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in the State of Louisiana.
Therapy services are provided in accordance with Louisiana state licensure laws and professional ethical standards.
Counseling services are available only to individuals physically located in jurisdictions where Brendan is legally authorized to practice at the time of service.
3. Telehealth Services
Telehealth services are provided in compliance with applicable Louisiana laws and regulations governing remote behavioral health services.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are physically located in an approved jurisdiction at the time of session.
While reasonable efforts are made to protect confidentiality, electronic communications and telehealth platforms carry inherent risks.
Some therapy services may be scheduled or managed through Simple Practice and/or Headway, which operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
4. Emergency & Crisis Policy
This website and its contact forms are not monitored for urgent or emergency communications.

5. Mandatory Reporting & Duty to Warn (Louisiana)
Under Louisiana law, licensed mental health professionals are required to report:

Threats of serious harm to identifiable individuals
Limits to confidentiality are explained in greater detail in the informed consent documents provided at intake.
6. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Therapy and consulting are collaborative processes. Specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
7. Fees, Cancellations & Agreements
All services require signed agreements outlining fees, cancellation policies, and scope of services.
Website content does not override signed agreements.
8. Intellectual Property
All website content is the intellectual property of Brendan Turner and may not be reproduced without written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Louisiana law, Brendan Turner shall not be liable for damages arising from use of this website.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any disputes shall be resolved in Louisiana courts of competent jurisdiction.
